Eddy current testing
Eddy Electromagnetic concepts are utilized as the foundation for completing inspections in current testing. When an alternating current is applied to a conductor, a magnetic field arises in and around it.
Most of our clients routinely choose Eddy current testing because it eliminates the need for paint removal prior to inspecting a system, which is a disadvantage of MK's traditional NDT approach.
Eddy current testing removes the requirement for surface preparation and saves a significant amount of time in paint removal and re-application after examination. Inspection of crane jibs, pedestals, pad-eyes (before and post-loading), drilling derrick substructures, and wind turbine towers are examples of typical site uses.
Because this is a sophisticated NDT inspection approach, competence and experience are necessary. We comprehend the inspection readings since we have over ten years of expertise in this industry.
We have over ten (10) experienced ET technicians on hand that are SNT Level II Eddy Current Testing certified in accordance with SNT-TC-1A. All Pasada Global Eddy Current inspection engineers have at least one NDT certification.
